Bosasa History
Bosasa's history can be traced back to 1981, when an idea was sparked to create a Full Facilities Management company to service the national demand for industry growth. The dream was to bridge the gaps that existed in knowledge management and strategy through a multidisciplinary approach. Ten years later Bosasa was born when a team was created that could successfully improve on the available technology and platforms offered to various industries. Since then, the company has grown from strength to strength.
The leaders of Bosasa have always firmly believed in nurturing local talent in South Africa. Another key part of our ethos is upliftment. This is why there is a strong focus on black empowerment within the company; Bosasa has attained a Level 2 BEE status. When international and local law changed to give a greater focus on the equality of women, the company also took this very seriously. At Bosasa, we strive to assist with empowering women in the workplace.
Today, Bosasa is a wholly South African owned company and it leads the way in technology, full facilities management and empowering young black professionals. Our geographical footprint is now national and our clients include companies and organisations in both the public and private sectors. Bosasa also has several multi-national partnerships with key global role players in the industry.
At our head office in Mogale Business Park in Gauteng, we again ventured into the unknown and took innovative steps. This park is fully BEE and is the first of its kind. Here, we developed a state-of-the-art shared services centre that supports our national interests. It's available to all our satellite offices, as well as our clients, 24/7. We also have excellent training facilities on-site, which have full SETA certification.
