The Bosasa Group has a successful relationship with Empowerdex BEE verification agency, an independent body that belongs to the Association of BEE Verification Agencies (ABVA). Our commitment to social upliftment has always stemmed from our skilled training, as well as our passion for providing opportunities to those who need them most. This has been recognised by several key BEE Corporation auditors.
All of our trained teams are highly knowledgeable about Bosasa Black Empowerment principles, especially in terms of BBBEE legislation and the Codes of Good Practice. These teams ensure that everything the Group does takes into account improving our Level 2 BBBEE contributors. Our extensive experience in assessing, verifying and validating both disclosed and undisclosed BEE-related information on entities means Bosasa provides efficient support services to the Group’s brands.
As a Level One contributor to BBBEE , Empowerdex has made considerable investment in establishing, implementing and maintaining sound administrative and financial management systems in Bosasa. These ensure that all information relating to clients is kept confidential and all governance practices are in order. Additionally, special emphasis is placed on BBBEE procurement principles with specific focus to BBBEE SMME sector development.
