Angelo Agrizzi
COO, Bosasa Group of Companies
|
Angelo Agrizzi is Chief Operating Officer of the Bosasa Group of Companies
- a position he has held for fifteen years. An authority in Full Facilities
Management, Agrizzi has demonstrated a navigational role in
challenging and accommodating rapidly changing and turbulent
socio-economic climates. He has successfully pioneered the design of
organisational resilience models for the benefit of all stakeholders.
These models, which fall under the umbrella of Full Facilities
Management, include capacity building, procurement, compliance, high
risk asset protection applications, project management, human resource
management, research and development.
With a fundamental understanding of business strategy,
Agrizzi has consistently engendered respect through his hands-on
governance-centred approach, integrity, accessibility, transparency,
practical understanding of all operational roles and detailed follow
through, from pre-procurement to final delivery.
Agrizzi has played a key role in benchmarking and
establishing best practice Youth Centres in South Africa. He has also
been instrumental in the development of the Watson Institute of Business
Leadership (WIBL) which has satisfied aspirational career path needs
of Bosasa personnel.
Under his aegis, the WIBL critical development service has
been extended generously to clients. This enables access to global
leadership/management trends and drives easy alignment between client
and vendor functions for effective service delivery.
Agrizzi builds and preserves long term multiple national
business partnerships. He has actively led the establishment of a client
driven, technology division within the Group, with a turnover in excess
of R1 billion and concluded further single contracts in excess of R750
million.
Agrizzi has refused to compromise valued clients by
accepting stale technologies traditionally sold off to South Africa for
local and laissez-faire consumption. His procurement business driver
is to identify technology innovative hotspots throughout the globe for
sourcing only First World applications. This successful strategy,
coupled to consortium partnerships with reputable international
organisations, has sustained Bosasa as ‘first choice’ vendor.
