Telkom Recognises Bosasa’s Compliance Excellence
The reputation Corrie Botes has established at Bosasa with his application of compliance regulations have gone beyond Mogale Business Park. The successful implementation of a Quality Management System at Bosasa caused Telkom to invite Corrie as a guest speaker on effective ISO compliance to an audience of 55 specialists in the field. In a 3 hour presentation, Corrie spoke on the need for a Quality plan emphasising the combination of client satisfaction and Company profitability. Corrie wowed an appreciative audience with his views on continuous improvement as a critical factor in a quality management system. He spoke at length on prerequisites to quality management:
- The Analysis of Data and Root Cause Analysis
- Collating of records to compile meaningful reports in order to make sound business decisions
- The evaluation of all factors
- Methods of Root Cause
- The Review Process by Management.
Corrie confirmed the basic principles of a sound Quality Plan in his presentation: say what you do, do what you say and then measure.
Corrie Botes joined the Bosasa Group in 2000 in the position of Compliance Coordinator. With a background in risk management in the mining industry he had a clear understanding how to apply his knowledge within the governance framework of the Group.
